BloxStrike matches are rounds, not a continuous respawn fight. The official description says each team tries to eliminate the other or to plant and defuse an objective. A 14-player server cap is public, but that number does not say how many of those slots are players, spectators, or unused.
Before the first buy
- Join the official experience, [NEW MAP] BloxStrike.
- Learn whether your side is attacking or defending this round.
- Stay near at least one teammate so a lost duel can be traded.
- Open settings with the gear icon, or press N during a round if that binding is still the one shown in the April 2026 settings write-up, and confirm Buy Menu before you need it.
What to do during a round
On attack, move toward the objective with the team and do not leave the planter alone. On defense, watch an approach instead of chasing one opponent across the map. After a plant, hold the paths defenders must use. On a retake, clear the site before someone starts the defuse.
Utility is for a specific job: crossing a lane, entering a site, or protecting the objective. Saving every grenade for a rifle you cannot afford yet does not help the current round.
What improves first
Keep the crosshair near head height at the next corner. Clear one angle at a time. After you die, remember the spot and pre-aim it next round. Stand still, or counter-strafe until you stop, before a rifle shot. The official movement guide covers counter-strafing, silent steps, and peeking; those are habits, not a damage buff.
What to ignore on night one
Do not spend Credits on a skin because you want the base gun. Set the stock weapon in Loadout, then buy it with round cash if the buy menu offers it. Do not copy a price table from another tactical shooter. Do not install a script that promises aim or wall information. The developer channel has a short video on avoiding scams, and off-platform middlemen are the usual risk.
Next, set a readable crosshair in the settings guide, then learn the loadout and buy-menu difference.
