Trade-up contracts arrived in update 1.1.1, shown on the official channel on 20 July 2026.
The rule from that video
You put in 10 skins of the same rarity and receive 1 skin of the next rarity. The steps shown are:
- Blue to purple
- Purple to pink
- Pink to red
Red skins cannot be traded up into golds. The video does not say that every finish in a rarity is equally likely, and it does not publish a float or pattern formula. Do not invent those odds in the calculator.
Before you confirm
- Count 10 inputs and check that every one is the same rarity.
- Look at wear and pattern. Two copies of one finish are not automatically equal.
- Assume the inputs are gone after a successful contract. The official description of the feature is an exchange, not a loan.
- Skip any skin you would rather trade to a player. A trade and a trade-up solve different problems.
- Ignore anyone who asks you to drop items to a third account to perform the contract.
What this does not do
A trade-up does not upgrade the gun's damage. It does not spend round cash. It does not accept mixed rarities in the rule that was stated. If the in-game screen shows a different input count, follow the screen. 1.1.1 is not guaranteed to be the latest build after the October 2026 listing update.
